During archaeological research in 2009, it was discovered that a farm had stood on the museum grounds around 1320. Our volunteers built a beautiful replica of this farm. According to the archaeologist, no rich farmer lived there. No valuables were found. But for our museum, the discovery was a gem that enables us to tell the history of our area even better.
When you enter our medieval farm, you will take a leap back in time and discover how people survived in the Middle Ages. Writing with a quill, cooking on an open fire, making candles or playing a simple game. On Wednesdays, there are regularly residents present who are happy to show you and tell you all about life in the Middle Ages. In the summer, we organize an annual Medieval Weekend.
