The Rose Route around Lottum
This route has a length of about 35 km.
The splendor of colors and scents of the rose, the Queen of Flowers, and also the beautiful, varied surroundings make a visit to Lottum worthwhile. A real cycle route goes past rose and tree nurseries, fragrant rose fields, garden centers with beautiful rose gardens, the magnificent rosarium, a romantic viewing and walking garden and catering establishments with delicious rose delicacies. Ask about it at the tourist office on the characteristic market square. This cycle route, the “Rose Route”, is easy to complete by following the green signs with the inscription “Rose Cycle Route”. The route starts and ends on the Market Square opposite the church in Lottum. What you see along the way, including the rose, depends on the season in which you cycle. Most rose fields are in their first and most beautiful bloom from mid-June, this splendor of colors continues until well into autumn.

Blue Berry Route around Melderslo
This route has a length of about 35 km.
The tour is dedicated to the queen of berries: the “Blue Berry”, and is well worth the effort throughout the year. In spring, during the flowering period in April and May, the plant produces graceful, striking white-pink flowers. During the summer months, the plants are full of green and blue berries. In autumn, the leaves on the shrubs turn fiery red and in winter, when the leaves have fallen, the stems also turn red. The changing seasons are clearly visible in the landscape here and the Kasteelse Bossen and the Schuitwater nature reserve are gems to spend time in.
