Who doesn’t know it? Asparagus with cooked ham, egg and melted butter – a classic! But how does this delicacy actually grow? In the Asparagus Pavilion you can discover everything about asparagus cultivation, from traditional harvesting to modern techniques.

Since the 1950s, North Limburg has been the asparagus region of the Netherlands. During the harvest season (April – June) we pay extra attention to this special vegetable. Then try our homemade asparagus soup! 🥄

A special feature of the pavilion is the auction clock from 1908. From April to November, organic vegetables are auctioned here on some Sundays. Take a seat on the benches and press the button – an experience not to be missed!
