  • De Pleyzengers uit Oud-Geleen

    De Pleyzengers

    The Pleyzengers from Oud-Geleen have been singing for over 40 years. The Pleyzengers originated in 1983 on a terrace in Noorbeek, where a group of friends spontaneously started singing. What began as a joke grew into a close-knit singing group full of fun, Limburg songs, and friendship.

  • Die Zwei Dörfer

    Brass band Die Zwei Dörfer is a music association from Meijel and Neerkant. It was founded in February 1993 when the brass bands Die Lustigen Dorfsfreunde from Neerkant and De Tesnuzzikke from Meijel started rehearsing together.

    The brass band Die Zwei Dörfer consists of 16 musicians, including several soloists. Their repertoire includes Egerländer music and characteristic music from the Czech Republic, Moravia, and Austria. German “Stimmungs” music and various types of dance and light music are also part of their repertoire.

    Die Berger Musikanten from Bergen have been around for over 60 years. The brass band plays in both the Netherlands and Germany. This friendly, lively group performs a repertoire of Egerländer music, but also other styles such as disco.

    The Venlo Choir Schoën Luuj was founded in 2000 and has grown into a mixed choir with approximately 45 members. They sing Dutch smartlappen and folk songs, with the occasional foray into dialect.

    Women’s Choir Happy Sound is an enthusiastic group of about 20 people from all corners of the country in and around Merselo. For years, they have shared the same passion: singing! Their repertoire is very diverse: from catchy Top 40 hits to evergreens and sensitive ballads. They sing primarily in English, but also have songs in Dutch, German, or dialect.

    MillCreek Revival is an enthusiastic vocal group with a band from Meerlo. Harmonies and a full band come together. What started as a group of friends with a passion for music has grown into an association that touches audiences time and again with spectacular performances – both regionally and beyond.

    In the afternoon, the duo Free time from Nederweert will provide live music.
